Star von Peters is magnificent 8 month old long haired German Shepherd. She is very loving and people oriented, she loves nothing better than to worm her way into your lap for pets and kisses. She is great with other dogs and all the dogs seem to like her. She had a great first cat tests. We took her in a room surrounded by cats and she didn’t even care if they were in her face. She has a good size bone structure and still has some major growing to do. Star is her original name, the mother in the family turned Star into the shelter because she thought the daughter and husband weren’t treating her nicely. Star seems fine and approaches people with the expectation that she will be loved. We are asking for a donation of $425 for Star. The long haired German Shepherds shed less, but need to be groomed more often. The fur stays on them until it is groomed off of them, so once every few months would be appropriate.
